Venice International Art Fair
September 17–24, 2026
Palazzo Pisani Revedin | Venice, Italy
My original paintings and hand-painted wearable art will be exhibited for seven days inside the 17th-century Palazzo Pisani-Revedin.
During opening night, I will create a hand-painted dress through a live performance while models move throughout the palace wearing pieces of my artwork. After the performance, the painted dresses will remain on display on mannequins alongside my original paintings for the duration of the exhibition.
The final day of the exhibition, September 24, also happens to be my birthday—a beautiful full-circle moment in this unfolding journey.

Meet the Artist
Before my first international exhibition opened in Venice, I sat down to share a little about who I am, what inspires my work, and the journey that brought me from painting on my porch in South Carolina to exhibiting inside a historic Venetian palace.

My work was recently the subject of a published professional art critique written by Angela Li for AATONAU, an international contemporary-art publication based in Osaka, Japan.
In "Patricia Graham: Art Critique," Li explores the emotional and intuitive process behind my work—how faces emerge through layers of color, movement, botanical imagery, marks, and feeling rather than beginning as predetermined portraits.
The critique also examines the recurring eyes, flowers, abstract figures, painted suitcases, and wearable-art direction within my practice. It reflects on the ways my work holds memory, resilience, grief, curiosity, transformation, and the parts of ourselves that are still becoming.
One of the most meaningful observations was that my faces feel discovered rather than imposed. That language deeply connects with the way I create: I rarely know who or what will appear when I begin. I follow the colors, movement, and emotion until the artwork reveals itself.
