Hey Love: Learning Portraits & World-Jumping
Hey Love,
As I continued painting, I felt a pull toward faces. Portraits became a new challenge—capturing not just features but emotions. With every line and shadow, I learned patience, precision, and expression. Yet, I never left behind the abstract worlds—I merged them. Faces appeared inside imagined landscapes. Scenes unfolded within scenes. I was world-jumping, letting skill and imagination dance together. In those moments, I wasn’t just drawing faces—I was exploring humanity, mine included. And with each piece, I saw that growth isn’t about leaving one thing behind—it’s about letting them evolve together.
Thank you for walking this path with me
